Quote templates

Quotation Template Excel

Fill in the quotation below, then choose Excel under “Or download as” to get an .xlsx spreadsheet with the line amounts and subtotal as live formulas.

Download your quotation as an Excel file

  1. Fill in the quotation: your details, the customer's, the work and prices.
  2. Under the Download PDF button, choose Excel.
  3. Open the .xlsx. Each line is quantity times price, and the subtotal is the sum of the lines.
  4. Tax and the total are the figures from the tool; update them if you change a line. Send a PDF, not the spreadsheet.

A warning about spreadsheets

A customer who gets the spreadsheet can see your formulas and change them. Send a PDF.

Questions

Does this page give me an Excel file?
Yes. Choose Excel under the Download PDF button. The free file ends with the same small credit line as the free PDF; Pro removes it.
How do I keep a list of quotes?
A second sheet with one row per quote: number, customer, date, amount and whether it was accepted.
