The Invoice Generator

Terms of service

Draft for the owner to review before launch. Last updated 26 October 2026.

Who we are

The Invoice Generator is made and run by DPR Software Labs (OPC) Private Limited, Bangalore, India (“we”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. How to reach us is on the contact page.

What the site does

It helps you make invoices, receipts, quotes and similar documents and download them as PDFs. The documents are made in your browser. It is a tool for producing a document: we are not a party to any sale or payment between you and your client, we do not take payments for you, and we do not check what you write.

Your documents and your responsibility

What you put in a document is yours, and you are responsible for it: that it is accurate, that you may use any logo or text in it, and that it follows the tax, invoicing and consumer rules that apply to you and your client. Nothing on this site, including the tax-rate pages, the calculators and the guides, is tax, accounting or legal advice. Tax rates and rules change; check with a qualified person or the tax authority before relying on them.

Accounts

You do not need an account to make or download a document. An account is for Pro and for keeping copies of your documents. You sign in with an emailed link or with Google. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can open your sign-in links can open your account. You can ask us to close your account and delete what we hold through the contact page. If you press Save & Download, a copy of that document is stored for you until you delete it or the account is closed. If you use payment reminders (Pro), you confirm that your client agrees to receive them, you are responsible for the invoice and its content, and we may stop sending reminders that look like spam or abuse; how data is handled is in the privacy page.

Pro, payment and cancelling

Pro is a paid subscription at $39 a year or $5 a month, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies. It renews each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; a cancelled subscription stays active to the end of the period you have paid for. Payment is taken by Dodo Payments, which sells Pro to you as the merchant of record: your card details go to Dodo, never to us, and Dodo's terms apply to the payment itself. Ask us through the contact page about a refund or a billing problem. Free features that are free today may change, but we will not take away a document you have already made.

What you may not do

Do not use the site to make false, misleading or fraudulent documents, to deceive anyone about who you are or what you are owed, to break the law, or to send traffic or requests that harm the site or other people. Do not try to get around the limits that protect the service or other users. We may stop or limit access for anyone who does.

The service as it is

We work to keep the site running and the arithmetic and PDFs correct, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Check every document before you send it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost income, lost data or other indirect loss that comes from using the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Our work

The site, its design, its templates and its code belong to us or our licensors. You may use the documents you make with them for your own business. You may not copy the site or resell the templates.

Changes and law

We may change these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bangalore have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where a law that protects you says otherwise.
