- The job and the number of points, fittings or circuits
- Labor, with hours or a fixed price
- Parts and materials, listed
- Call-out, certificates or inspection, if you charge for them
- What could change the cost, such as old wiring found behind a wall
Safety and scope
Say what you will test and certify, and what the customer must do, such as clear access. It protects both sides.
