How to make an invoice

1. Add your details and your client's. Your name or business and address go under From; the client goes under Bill to.A logo and a signature are part of Pro.
2. List what you are charging for. One line per item with a quantity and a rate; the amounts and the total add up as you type. Add tax, a discount or shipping only if you need them.
3. Set the payment terms. Type Net 30 and the due date fills in. Put how to pay in the How to pay box, and add a deposit or a late fee if you charge one.
4. Download the PDF and send it by email or print it.

Why it is built this way

• Nothing to sign up for. The PDF is made on your device, so there is no account, no email box and no limit on how many you make.
• Your invoices stay with you. The draft is saved in this browser only. We cannot see it, so we cannot lose it or sell it.

Is it really free?

Yes: unlimited invoices, receipts, quotes, estimates, credit notes, purchase orders and proforma invoices, and the PDF download, with no account. A paid plan with extras is planned; see pricing. What is free now stays free.

Where is my invoice stored?

In your browser's own storage on this device. Clearing your browser data, or using another device, means it will not be there, so download the PDF for anything you need to keep.

Which currencies can I use?

Any of the world's currencies. Pick one in the settings next to the invoice; the symbol and decimals follow it.

Can I add tax?

Yes. Enter a tax rate as a percentage, or a flat amount. Tax is worked out after any discount, and shipping is added after tax.
